Our Story

The sun was shining, birds were chirping, and Ryan's phone battery was at 13% when he took a break from his MLB job at Chelsea Market and opened Tinder. A beautiful portrait caught his eye: Jessica, 23, just a mile away. Hopeful, he swiped right—they matched instantly.

Their relationship began across the Hudson River, with Ryan in Jersey City and Jess on the Upper West Side. Late-night meals and early PATH trains bridged their worlds, eventually leading to adventures across eight countries and three continents. They've embraced each other's interests—Ryan becoming a Maxxinista and Jess learning what a "down" is in football. Along the way, they even welcomed a toy poodle named Remy into their lives.

In October 2023, shortly after their five-year anniversary, Ryan surprised Jess in Paris during a trip with her best friends. The Tuileries Garden provided the perfect backdrop for his proposal. They're thrilled to continue their fairytale with you in August 2025.
